However, at this point, the Henredon Furniture website currently has a “Coming Soon” banner on the page. So, we do not know what to expect will happen to this wonderful furniture brand.
Hopefully, with such a reputation, the brand comes back to life soon! After all, millions of people recognize the Henredon name. Indeed, it truly stood for quality.
What does the name Henredon mean?
The name Henredon was invented by the founders. In 1945, four men combined their names to create the word “Henredon.” So, the word has no meaning, but has a nice ring to it.
Nowadays, many people recognize Henredon Furniture. Since the company created so many different successful lines of furniture, it is not uncommon to see vintage Henredon furniture on the auction block or in vintage stores.
Indeed, Henredon was known for being pretty pricey even in the 1950s and 1960s.
